A Wow Facctor doesn’t need to be expensive it could just be in a theme, decorations or just the couple themselves and here are some ideas on the areas where you can consider that wow factor for your Wedding.....

Bringing That Wow Factor To Your Special Day.....

Your wedding day will be the one of the best days of your life, some people will say that their special day was on par with the day they met their partner or gave birth to their children!

It will also be a day of dreams and big expense and these days we can have whatever we want for our Wedding day as long as our budget allows.

Gone are the days where there is just a ceremony followed by the reception and evening party, some weddings are held over a few days with weeks of parties leading up to the day itself and the celebrations on the day are wide and varied with many couples seeking something different for their day to make the wedding day more memorable providing a wow factor for their guests.

Here are some ideas of how you can get that Wow Factor at your Wedding....

Arrival/Departure of the Bride/Groom

The arrival and departure of the Bride and Groom are defining moments in the wedding day, this could be when they arrive for the ceremony, when they arrive at the Reception after they have got married or when they leave at the end of the evening.

Each of these moments are special and can be made even more so by using an alternative form of transport than a car.

You could choose a fancy car of course but what about your favourite sports car that could be hired for the day, a vintage London Bus or a stretch limousine.

There are other options like arriving on a horse, using a horse and carriage, a special truck, themed vehicle, or Helicopter and I’ve even read about a couple who arrived at their wedding in a Hot Air Balloon!

The Ring Bearer

The person who brings the ring to the Wedding is traditionally the Best Man or Woman but there are some alternatives to this such as asking a child or another member of the family.

I’m sure that most people have seen photos of dressed up pets at Weddings taking on the role of Ring Bearer these are normally Dogs but also include Cats, Rabbits and Horses.

Some people have looked for something different to get that wow factor at their wedding such as having Alpacas, Reindeers, Owls and Mini Horses as their ring bearers and these ideas are guaranteed to impress your guests!

The Bridal Wear

The Wedding dress will be the most special dress anyone will buy and this might the chance to show of their individuality, it is also a chance to get another wow factor into your day.

You could choose something themed to show off to your guests perhaps you want to be different and pick a colour other than white.

Some people choose to go big with their dresses and have large trains and flamboyant designs you could secretly add some lights to your dress to really stand out which will be great when the lights go down and you enjoy your first dance!

The Decorations

Your Wedding venue may give a spectacular view and you have a natural wow factor to give to your guests, you might want to theme your day to give it that X-factor.

There are so many ideas of the type of decorations that will give you that extravagant feel on your day there are flower walls, balloon arches, flowers and wood slices but what about lots of twinkling lights, Ice sculptures or a Margherita Fountain instead of the normal chocolate fountain to make your day stand out.

Entertainment

Entertainment at a Wedding is how you keep your guests happy during the celebrations and there are many points for the duration of the day when entertainment can be laid on so go wild with your ideas on how to impress your guests.

The standard Wedding entertainment includes a DJ and disco for the evening function but there are other times throughout the day where entertainment can be included.

Music doesn’t need to be just from a disco or with a DJ, hiring a band is a particular favourite and there are a wide range of bands around that can provide amazing sets but what about considering something a bit different like a Strong Quartet, Brass Band, a Harpist, Saxophonist or a Trombonist to entertain your guests after your ceremony.

There are lots of unusual ideas around for party entertainment like tattooist, caricaturist, artists, belly dancers, mechanical bulls, belly dancers, stilt walkers, led light suit dancers and cigar bars to name just a few!

Food and Drink

The food and drink you choose is an important part of the Wedding and it will be remembered by your guests long after if its bad or if it is spectacular! Being one of the items that cost a great deal in your budget there are many chances to get the wow factor in here.

You could offer a free bar which will always be welcomed but have you thought about special drinks that could be served like laying on a cocktail or sundae bar.

Grazing Tables and Food Stations are popular choices these can be filled with lots of colourful foods that everyone can enjoy including some personal favourites of the happy couple.
